ACTIONABLE TIPS AND STRATEGIES TO HELP IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE

Since we just entered a new year, I thought discussing how to create real lasting change would be fitting. Today, I want to share with you ladies the growth journey I’ve been on with God for the last couple of years and how that’s completely transformed my mind, body, and spirit from the inside out.
WHO ARE YOU?

My name is Abimbola, and I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I currently work as a caregiver, which keeps me busy. I graduated from Western Michigan University (WMU) with majors in Communication Studies and Political Science. During my last few years at WMU, I was a student reporter for the university’s newspaper, The Western Herald. Being a student reporter allowed me to learn new ideas, gain new experiences and connect with others. I started blogging to continue learning and sharing ideas.

MORE ABOUT ME

In my downtime, I like reading, getting lost in a good tv show, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, being in nature, visiting new places, and eating coffee ice cream. I also love learning and talking about all things personalities and personal development. My top five themes from the Clifton Strengths Finder Assessment are Input, Learner, Belief, Responsibility, and Harmony.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO START BLOGGING?

I started blogging because I have always had a passion for writing. I believe that blogging is a powerful way to share ideas and insights that could help others. When I started my growth journey, I knew that I wanted to find a way to share what I was learning along the way. Starting a blog is the most effective way for me to do just that. In addition to sharing my stories and experiences, blogging is also a practical learning tool. When you stop learning, you stop growing; that’s not okay. Blogging allows me to constantly expand my mind by asking questions and finding solutions to problems. Lastly, starting a blog is a great way to build community and connect with others. Connection with others is an integral part of growing as a person. I started blogging to connect with others while sharing about fascinating ideas related to personal development.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO BLOG ABOUT?

This blog will mainly be focused on topics related to personal development. I will be blogging about topics such as mindset, productivity, goal-setting, and habits. While tons of blogs cover the same topics, no one has my life experiences. I hope to provide unique perspectives to these broadly popular ideas in the personal development niche.

WHO ARE YOU WRITING FOR?

I started blogging to share my growth journey and what I’m learning. I am writing for people who care about their self-development. I’m also writing for people struggling with problems that I may be struggling with or may have recently struggled with in my journey. Problems are inevitable along any journey. However, what matters most is the drive and determination to reevaluate and fix the problems we face. When I find practical solutions to problems, I’m excited to share them in the hopes that other people benefit from them as I have.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Feel free to share my posts if one particularly resonated with you. You can email me at hi@abimbolajubril.com for any questions or concerns.

WHAT ARE YOUR BLOGGING GOALS?

After launching a blog I’m proud of, my goal is to begin blogging regularly, at least one post a week. As I publish weekly, I also want to start and grow an email list. As time goes on, I will set more goals for my blog, but those are my three main blogging goals as I’m just starting.
