ACTIONABLE TIPS AND STRATEGIES TO HELP IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE

Since we just entered a new year, I thought discussing how to create real lasting change would be fitting. Today, I want to share with you ladies the growth journey I’ve been on with God for the last couple of years and how that’s completely transformed my mind, body, and spirit from the inside out.

If we want to live to our full potential, one skill imperative to living a life of meaning is the ability to seek clarity. Having clarity in life is an important skill to develop. Gaining clarity in life is a skill many overlook or don’t spend enough time on. Life can get busy and overwhelming; when it does, the ability to seek clarity can come in handy. In this article, I will discuss why clarity is important and how to gain more of it.

WHAT IS CLARITY?

In his book High Performance Habits Brendon Burchard states, “finding clarity in your life is about how you think about tomorrow and what you do to stay connected with what matters today.”

WHY IS CLARITY IMPORTANT?

Clarity is essential because it can cause stress, anxiety, and overwhelm when you don’t have clarity in life. A lack of clarity can also lead to poor decisions, and decisions are what shape our lives. Taking time to seek clarity can positively impact your mindset and overall well-being. Clarity also allows you to stay connected with what is most important to you and say “no” to less important things.

HOW TO GAIN MORE CLARITY

In his book, High Performance Habits, Brendon Burchard states, you don’t have clarity; you generate it. You generate clarity by asking questions, researching, trying new things, sorting through life’s opportunities, and sniffing out what is right for you. Clarity is the child of careful thought and mindful experimentation, it comes from asking yourself questions continually and further refining your perspective on life.”

Asking and reflecting on questions like the ones listed above is a great way to gain more insights about yourself and what you want out of life. GRATITUDE

Gratitude is the key to living a happier and more fulfilled life. When you are grateful, it allows you to appreciate life on a deeper level. An attitude of gratitude positively impacts your mood, health, and overall well-being. When we are happier, we think more clearly than if we are down and depressed. Taking the time to remember what you are grateful for is a habit we should all try to cultivate. When we are grateful for what we already have, more blessings follow.

UNPLUG

The world is full of noice. If we want clarity on what matters in life and where we are headed, it’s necessary to turn off the noise sometimes. There are so many distractions that we encounter every day. Taking time in silence will allow us to reflect better and stay connected to what matters most to us.

Gaining clarity is not something that automatically happens. We must regularly take the time to seek clarity and be intentional about it. If we want to live to our full potential and be the best we can be, we must learn to ask ourselves tough questions and be honest about where we are in life and what we want.
